Dear Heavenly Father,
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I humbly come to You with all my heart laid bare. I know You see through my soul, catching every thought and feeling as I bring my praise and prayers before You right now. I’m deeply grateful for Your forgiveness, knowing that even in my mess-ups, Your grace covers me. Sin tries to drag me down, but with Your Word as my guide, I’m empowered to rise above and shine as the light You’ve called me to be.
Today, I lift up my heart in awe of Your greatness. Your power is unmatched, Your kindness endless, and Your mercy beyond measure. I’m so thankful for the grace that allows me to live and breathe. You’re the reason I exist, and for that, I praise You.
I recognize how incredibly precious I am to You, and I’m in awe of the abundant blessings You’ve poured out through Your Son, Jesus Christ. You want me to live fully, thriving in every area of my life, just as You desire for every believer. I know that everything I need is already provided by You; so if I’m feeling depleted or lacking in any aspect, it’s just a matter of shifting my mindset and heart in gratitude towards You.
I come boldly before You, asking for wisdom to truly grasp the lessons in Your Word. Open my eyes so I’m not blind to the growth You have in store for me. I commit to learning these lessons well, using them to shape my best self for the benefit of Your Kingdom. I know that seeking Your Kingdom first is my top priority, and when I’m devoted to this, everything else falls into place.
Guide me to use this wisdom and revelation to make choices that bring You glory and steer me away from future sorrow. Let my decisions reflect the depth of Your magnificent grace. I expect nothing less than the best, knowing that to receive the best, I must present my best. I understand, Father, that I need to grow into an awesome woman of God before I can hope for an awesome man of God. I must sharpen my spiritual gifts to the point where I am confident, strong, and full of believing power. Only then will my future husband and I be able to stand back to back, fully prepared and armed against the schemes of the enemy.
Help me reach a level of Christian maturity where I can discern a man who isn’t sent by You. Guide me so I don’t waste my precious time on empty talk or those who are only interested in the physical aspects of my beautifully made self. My faith in You should keep impatience from leading my heart into relationships without Your approval. Instead, I should trust that the one You send will be genuinely committed to loving You and supporting me in my walk with You through Jesus Christ. This will be the true sign that he is sent by You.
As I patiently wait and focus on my spiritual and personal growth, I pray You will bring Your Word to my mind when I fall short. Through Your precious Holy Spirit, teach me daily how to be my best self, so I can be the helpmate You’ve called me to be. When I’m ready according to Your standard, please bless me with a Godly man who will love me as Jesus Christ loves the church. May he be physically pleasing to me and prepared to grow and share life with me. I pray he will be compassionate, fully committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and devoted to me. I trust that if I’ve committed myself to You fully, I will not be disappointed. Thank You for sending my husband soon.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
